Fill Plant Support/Counter Sales
Job Summary:
Under the direction of and reporting to the Branch Manager, the Fill Plant Support/Counter Sales team member is responsible for supporting daily fill plant operations while delivering excellent customer service and sales support. This role is split approximately 50% fill plant responsibilities and 50% counter sales/customer support. Responsibilities may also include hotshot or delivery support requiring a CDL, as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Fill Plant Operations
- Lead daily fill plant production and operations
- Fill cylinders and verify retest dates and compliance requirements
- Maintain required paperwork, documentation and certifications
- Monitor cylinder and GP inventory and communicate shortages or discrepancies to leadership
- Follow all safety procedures and standard operating protocols
- Minimize waste through attention to procedures and operational efficiency
Counter Sales & Customer Support
- Provide outstanding customer service and create a positive CM2 Supply experience.
- Assist walk-in customers with product inquiries, sales, and order fulfillment.
- Support internal customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members to ensure customer needs are met.
Team & Safety Support
- Lead by example in professionalism, teamwork, and safety practices.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new team members as needed.
- Maintain a safe work environment and report any concerns or incidents to the Branch Manager promptly.
- Support branch operations and additional duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education, Experience and Certifications
- High School degree or equivalent, preferred.
- 1-2 years of industry experience, preferred.
- Experience working with high pressure cylinders, preferred.
- CDL preferred or ability to obtain one, depending on branch needs

- High level of ethics, honesty, and transparency
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with respect to CM2 operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a good team-player, detail oriented and good at multi-tasking
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software, and standard business equipment (phone, computer, copier/scanner etc.).
Work Conditions:
The work environment is primarily indoors. May have exposure to a variety of weather conditions when traveling outside of the workplace.
- This position includes light work, lifting up to 25 pounds, with frequent lifting/carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Hear, speak, and effectively verbally communicate in the English language, including following oral and written instructions, in order to communicate with people inside and outside the organization.
- Apply manual dexterity, visual acuity and ability, for computer keyboarding, office equipment use.
