Under the direction of, and reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Bulk & Package Gas Specialistis responsible for receiving, coordinating, analyzing, and tracking bulk gas and packaged gas inventories. They also work closely with Supply Chain, Cylinder Manager and Sales Managers to ensure goods are managed and tracked.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Analyze pricing structures to ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

• Analyze and implement price changes for bulk & packaged gas in TIMS software system.
• Work with sales team and management to ensure customer contracts and pricing are accurate.
• Analyze profit margin reports in TIMS daily.  Handle all discrepancies on a case-by-case basis.  Work with appropriate departments to resolve questions.

• Work with VP of Sales on rental and new price increases from vendors
• Deploy price increases using contract campaign manager
• Implement price changes in our TIMS system
• Work with sales team to communicate any price changes. 
• Maintain monthly blanket PO’s for all bulk gases and packaged gases with vendors
• Performs physical inventory counts to review stock balances and adjust any discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory levels as needed
• Assists in purchasing duties related to daily, weekly, monthly RGAs and PO requirements
• Assisting account managers and route sales drivers with various questions/projects on an as needed basis. 

Inventory Management

• Analyze and reconcile cylinder activity and audits
• Reconcile cylinder rental statements from vendors
• Maintain Gas Mix Manager in TIMS system
• Add, create and update items in the inventory file as needed

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works closely with Cylinder Manager on setting costs on packaged gas and backs up Cylinder Manager as needed
• Perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management.
