Fill Plant Support

Job Summary:

Under the direction of, and reporting to the Fill Plant Manager, Fill Plant Support is responsible in executing fill plant support services as instructed. This individual relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for fill plant production

  • Filling cylinders, verifying retest dates.
  • Internal customer support
  • Maintain Required paperwork and certifications

Customer experience

  • Assist in training additional team members as needed.
  • Monitor internal customer requests and order fulfillment

Employee Experience excellence

  • Lead by Example
  • Provide pertinent job training and provide a safe work environment to any new team members
  • Directly report any issues to the fill plant manager to comply with safety requirements.

Minimize waste

  • Minimize waste through attention to standard protocols and procedures.

Manage cylinder and GP inventory

  • Keep the plant manager informed of any shortages or discrepancies in inventory.

 Preferred Qualifications:

Education, Experience and Certifications

  • High School degree or equivalent, preferred.
  • 1-2 years of industry experience, preferred.
  • Experience working with high pressure cylinders, preferred.

 Competencies:

  • High level of ethics, honesty, and transparency
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with respect to CM2 operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a good team-player, detail oriented and good at multi-tasking
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software, and standard business equipment (phone, computer, copier/scanner etc.).

Work Conditions:

The work environment is primarily indoors.  May have exposure to a variety of weather conditions when traveling outside of the workplace.

  • This position includes light work, lifting up to 25 pounds, with frequent lifting/carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Hear, speak, and effectively verbally communicate in the English language, including following oral and written instructions, in order to communicate with people inside and outside the organization.
  • Apply manual dexterity, visual acuity and ability, for computer keyboarding, office equipment use.
